Solstice Gathering

Since all forecasters are predicting cold and rainy tomorrow (Friday) I thought I would announce change of sites now rather than waiting. I don’t want any of you to have the added stress of cold and wet this season. We will meet at the Garden Sanctuary at 11am http://www.thegardensanctuary.com/Directions.htm

The room may be a little cool and if weather permits we will do some activity outdoors so do dress warmly. Also, it is a shoe free room so you might want to bring warm socks for inside. Also, bring a journal or at least pen and paper, a drum and/or rattle if you have them, a blanket to lie on (or under), and as always a sense of humor and adventure.

A $20 donation is requested that will be donated to the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Releasing Trauma through Ancestral Healing.

Friday, February 1, 2013 6-8 pm, and

Saturday, February 2, 2013 10 am – 6 pm

Most traditional cultures keep a channel open to link the current time to the ancestral, through ceremonies, rituals and trance states, thus allowing the receipt of inspiration, support and healing that goes both ways. This workshop will experientially guide participants to open those channels to allow us contact with our own individual ancestors and to gain access to the deeper and more creative parts of ourselves. We may also heal past traumas, incurred in this lifetime, or passed down through the generations.

We will come together at the Garden Sanctuary in Live Oak–a comfortable, safe, fun and playful space using a wide range of approaches including breathing techniques, guided visualizations and shamanic journeying. You will gain access to powerful tools to open the doors of creativity, ignite the fires of inspiration, restore balance and initiate the healing process.

Work on releasing ancestral negative patterns and traumas that have been passed through the generations.  You will be shown how to recognize these patterns and to engage in healing them.  This method ignites a process of changing generationally transmitted limitations, thereby freeing energy for the ancestors, our descendents and ourselves.

Cost:  Early registration before December 15th $200, after December 15  $250
